Prometheus the Poet is a artistic creative writing project designed to explore poetry within the confines of another’s work.  Through artistic means, I attempt to create meaningful poetry from the pages of classic literary (and non-copyrighted) works.

Prometheus, the eldest son of a titan, lived on Earth amongst humans.  After being denied fire for his neighbors, Prometheus climbed Mt. Olympus, stole a spark from Zeus’s lightning bolt and return to humanity, gift in hand.

Taking from the old regime, Promethus allowed the advancement of humanity with fire.  While I cannot hope to advance the fields of art or poetry with my project, I hope to at least advance myself.
